Kamairicha
Kamairicha is a rare Japanese tea produced mainly in the Kyushu region. Unlike most Japanese green teas, which are steamed after harvest, kamairicha is pan-fired to prevent oxidation. This traditional processing method gives the tea a smooth, round character with subtle sweet notes and a gentle roasted aroma. Compared to the straight, needle-like leaves of sencha, kamairicha is easily recognized by its curled leaves.
