Organic Koshun First Flush
In the cup: a beautiful and smooth golden black tea with subtle honeyed notes and very little astringency.
This delicate black tea is made from the Koshun cultivar by Mr. Miyazaki in Gokase, Yame. The tea leaves are not shaded and are carefully hand-harvested in mid-May. After harvest, the leaves undergo a gentle wilting and fermenting process to bring out their refined flavors.
