A refreshing organic sencha tea made from first harvest leaves grown in Kagoshima, one of Japan’s largest organic tea-growing regions. The area’s volcanic soil, southern climate, and long growing season contribute to teas with vibrant freshness, gentle sweetness, and balanced umami.

This tea is a blend of two cultivars, with Yabukita as the base, offering freshness and classic sencha notes, complemented by Okumidori for depth and smoothness.

In the cup: light vegetal notes with a gentle astringency. The mellow flavour develops into a long, satisfying finish that lingers on the palate, accompanied by a refreshing aroma.

Sencha is best brewed in a small, preheated teapot and with full attention. You can brew several times on the same leaves, adjusting the water temperature and brewing time.

Below a suggestion for brewing this tea, but please experiment and find your own favorite cup.

Use 6-8g for 200 ml water.
1. brew: Water 75°C / 60 sec.
2. brew: Water 85°C / pour immediately
3. brew: Water 90°C / pour immediately
