


Organic Hachiju Hachiya Sencha
An organic blended sencha made from first harvest Yabukita picked in early May and Okumidori harvested later in the season. Produced by Mr. Harashima, a 3rd-generation tea producer in the hills of Yame, where the first tea fields were planted more than 600 years ago. The region is known for its misty mountain conditions and umami-rich teas.
The combination of Yabukita and Okumidori creates a balanced tea with both freshness and depth, bringing together clean vegetal notes, rounded umami, and a smooth texture.
In the cup: a bright green tea with deep umami and soft buttery, bean-like notes when brewed at lower temperatures. At slightly higher temperatures, the tea develops a richer and more refreshing character.
