The Matcha Kit

Everything you need to begin your matcha ritual at home. We've bundled our preferred chashaku (bamboo scoop), chasen (bamboo whisk), and a high quality organic matcha at a special price. Simply pair them with your favorite chawan to complete your ritual.

The matcha in this set comes from Kirishima, Kagoshima, where it is organically grown by Mr. Koichi Henta. Produced from the Yabukita cultivar, the tea plants are shaded for 21–35 days before harvest to develop depth, sweetness, and complexity. After processing into tencha, the leaves are finely ground into matcha.

In the cup: elegant and balanced, with a silky texture, gentle floral notes, soft umami, and a lingering natural sweetness.

The included chasen and chashaku are crafted in Takayama, Nara—Japan's historic center of bamboo tea tools. Made from locally sourced bamboo by a skilled artisan, each piece reflects generations of craftsmanship and is designed to bring precision and intention to every preparation.
