Chasen - White 80

A high-quality chasen handcrafted in Takayama, Nara, Japan, by a skilled local artisan. Made from natural bamboo, locally sourced and known for its flexibility, this whisk features 80 hand-carved tines, carefully shaped and perfect for whisking both thin and thick matcha, creating a rich froth and smooth texture.

Each whisk is individually made in limited quantities, approximately 8–10 chasens per day, with a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship. Every piece is unique, shaped by both the natural character of the bamboo and the precision of the artisan’s hand.

For best care, rinse with water after use and allow to air dry.
